Produced and recorded by Jeremy Yeremian and Nic Jodoin at the iconic Valentine Studios in LA, where, in the late sixties, bands such as The Beach boys, Boyce & Hart, Frank Zappa etc. worked their magic. More recently new artists the likes of Nick Waterhouse, Black Lips and Jon Batiste have also favoured Valentine Studios as the place to record.
Ian’s strong ties with the city of Los Angeles led him to record his first LP “Walk that road again”, on which this little genius wrote all the tracks and also played most of the instruments.
On the A side you´ll find “Clown” a danceable mix of garage, pop, psychedelia, samba and Soho spies….. laced with hypnotic keyboard, trumpets and trombones….all gloriously well-shaken and stirred, a definite dance floor filler. Never has there been such an elegant yet groovy clown!
Side B reveals “Love wasn’t built in a year” already a classic even before its release. A savoury cocktail of 60’s garage, psychedelia and horns….a winning combination willing you to close your eyes and eat up the dance floor! We can assure you this anthem will find pride of place in your record collection.
