‘You Got What I Want’ was written by producer Miki Dallon who first recorded this song with Boys Blue and released it as a single in 1965. It didn’t do much in the charts so he decided to try again, but this time with The Sorrows who did slightly better. Both versions are equally raw and fantastic, but still it wasn’t good enough for good old Miki, so he uploaded the song’s data into our software to give it ‘The Mechanical Treatment’.
